We've been blessed to meet a handful of people who have really helped us out along our tour. Here in Purwokerto we met a Mr. Popo that is one of those people. Introduced to us by Sonny, he is such a selfless human being. Sonny is too in his own right, giving us contacts in each of the major cities we will go to. Seriously, so helpful.
Mr. Popo manages to really stand out. He had his bike shop employes completely strip our bikes, degrease/regrease them, and clean our parts with a toothbrush. Wow, I've never ever had a bike manicure before. Makes a hell of a difference.
And then there were all the juices and desserts and the large three fish dinner we had at the end - treated like royalty in Purworkerto!
